The Story behind our Farmhouse Hardwood Floors
Colonial Plank Floors is a family-run company specializing in hand-crafted, wide plank, colonial, and farmhouse reproduction flooring in Colmar, Pennsylvania. Our shop is located north of Philadelphia on the border of Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Over the last 14 years, we have hand-crafted more than 700 hardwood plank floors for customers from Maine to Arizona, to Georgia and everywhere in between. We have even shipped our stunning rustic oak wood flooring to Ireland.
We create beautiful rustic planks using historically accurate crafting methods from the 18th century. Our farmhouse hardwood floors will add a sense of tradition and warmth to your home or business. Our planks are crafted from solid, kiln-dried hardwoods from Pennsylvania and the surrounding states, and harvested with environmentally friendly practices.
Our Pennsylvania craftsmen take immense pride in their work. Much of the cutting on our wide planking is done by hand using 18th-century tools, just as they did in the 1700s. The finishes on our rustic planks are the best available and are hand-applied and hand-rubbed to achieve a look that can’t be duplicated by spray stains and finishes.
Our rustic oak wood flooring is unique and limited in quantity due to production times. If you are interested in one of our gorgeous, one-of-a-kind plank floors, plan ahead and allow plenty of lead time for your project.
